We toured Sri Lanka for 16 days in February, 2018 with a great driver - Sam (we had been warned not to drive ourselves if we value our life - it's true!). Sri Lanka is rich in history, with tea plantations in the beautiful hill country, wonderful wildlife and beaches and lovely friendly people. The images are shown in chronological order. The hotel used to be the owner of the estate's house, a Scottish gentleman! Sunrise reflecting in the windows. The hotel was lovely with old world ambiance and a dining room table where all the guests ate together (only 5 rooms). We had to wear extra clothes in the hill country - they even lit the living room fireplace! It rained on our arrival - the only rain we had during the trip.
