Peru 2017
In July we went on an Exodus Travel tour of Peru for 14 days with my sister and brother-in-law, Liz and Steve from the UK. There were 18 of us from five different countries and our guide, Raul from Lima. Julian and I spent a couple of days in Lima before the group arrived. We travelled by coach which allowed us to see a lot of the country but also had to contend with truck accidents and a teachers strike march which occupied the road for 4 hours! It was quite a challenging tour with altitude affecting most people to some extent and lots of long days travelling but the group was great! Peru is a fascinating country, the people very friendly and helpful and the scenery and sights stunning! Comments below.

View of Puno as we arrived by mini bus from the nearby airport of Juliaca. I got sick after MP and when the group left Cusco to drive to Lake Titicaca (long drive) and take a boat to a homestay on an island, we didn't join them. We left by plane and had an extra night in Puno where the group joined us at the hotel after their homestay.
